What you need to do is to contact AT%26amp;T and ask them to make a data block - say that you want your sim be blocked for any data service (don't say that that you are going to use it with your Blackberry bold, just ask for the data to be vloked as you want only the regular signal for calls and SMS)



Then make sure that you can't use it with data from another phone.
