Hi, was just wondering, if I buy an unlocked Mytouch slide from ebay or any other place, can I just insert my sim card which DOESN't have internet, and still get the Mytouch to work?Mytouch slide unlocked still usable with sim card that has no data plan?
One was to do it is to get a friends SIM card with a data plan. Put it into the phone and sign into your google account. And then take your friends sim card out and put yours in. The phone will work (calling, text, pictures) But no Android market, or internet in general. It does not need to be "Unlocked". The term "unlocking" means that you will be able to use an AT%26amp;T SIM card.
