I have my friends old iPhone 3GS, I am with AT%26amp;T but don't have a data plan. In the iPhone settings there is a toggle for turning off cellular data. If I do this and then put in my sim card can I use the iPhone as just a regular phone and not get charged for the data plan by AT%26amp;T?If I turn of cellular data on my iPhone can I put another sim card and not get charged?
No. If you activate the phone, they'll automatically put you on a data plan.
