How huge data is stored on sim card of mobile or SD memoray card of digital camera?

It depends on the quality settings. Just like on a regular digital camera, the photos are typically stored as JPG files and the size will go up as the image size goes up (ie. a VGA resolution photo will be smaller than a 1 megapixel image).

0.3MP resolution (640x480)snaps usually run about 175k but vary depending on how complex the image is. more complex = less compression = bigger file size.

1MP resolution pics seem to average about 400k.

2MP resolution pics seem to average about 700k.

There's only a few 3MP camera phones out there, and I don't own one, so I can't be sure. However, up to 2 megapixels, the image quality vs size seems roughly the same as on a real digital camera, so I'd have to guess 500k to 1.5megs.

These are just averages based on what I get on my phones with my settings. Your own may vary depending on compression settings, image quality settings, and what you're shooting. Compression settings are sometimes fixed on cell phones so you might not have the option of tweaking them. Manufacturers tend to go for higher compression rather than image quality though, when that's the case.
